What is the Ladies Auxiliary?
We are a service-oriented Catholic women's group that work hand in hand with the Knights of Columbus, our church, local community, and each other through social activities, fund raising, charitable works, and parish events. How old do I have to be to join? Women ages 18 and older are welcome to join. We have single sisters, married women, moms, grandmas, and widows among our membership. How much are dues? Dues are $15 per year or $18.65 with penny a day that we collect to help support religious life. What is your affiliation to the Knights of Columbus? The Ladies Auxiliary is the sister organization of the Knights of Columbus. We are independent partners in the Columbian family. Sometimes we collaborate with the Knights; other activities are our own. Does my husband have to be a Knight to join? No. Most of our Board of Directors have husbands who are Knights and the other Board of Directors do not. Do you have meetings? Yes. We meet the third Monday of every month in the Parish Center at 7 PM. |
